We’re looking for a highly capable and commercially astute Head of Financial Planning & Analysis to lead the financial performance strategy for EG On The Move. In this key leadership role, you’ll be responsible for consolidating financial reports, maintaining and refining long-term financial models, and partnering with head office and brand finance teams to deliver accurate, insightful business reporting. You will have the opportunity to lead innovations and deliver insights that shape key business decisions. What you’ll do:
- Consolidate and prepare weekly and monthly financial reports, analysing data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
- Provide actionable insights and recommendations to senior management based on financial analysis.
- Maintain and update the long-term financial model to reflect current business conditions and strategic goals, ensuring it supports effective decision-making and accurate forecasting for future growth.
- Integrate rolling forecasts into the financial model to provide ongoing updates and adjustments based on actual performance and changing market conditions.
- Lead the annual budgeting process, collaborating with departments to gather and validate inputs and consolidating them into a comprehensive organisational budget.
- Monitor and track budget performance against actuals, providing variance analysis and maintaining reports and dashboards to support financial planning and decision-making.
- Work with Treasury to develop and manage daily cash flow forecasts to ensure effective liquidity management.
- Act as the primary finance business partner for head office, delivering comprehensive financial reporting and analysis.
- Support strategic initiatives and provide financial insights to drive business performance.
- Develop and implement best-in-class business reporting practices to enhance the accuracy and efficiency of financial reporting.
- Engage with various stakeholders across the organisation to gather relevant data and insights for financial analysis.
- Liaise with banks and third parties to obtain and incorporate macroeconomic data, such as interest rates and economic forecasts, into financial models.
- Monitor external economic conditions and assess their potential impact on financial performance and planning.
