EG Group are looking for a Finance Assistant to join our Transactional Shared Services team at Head Office. In this role, you will support the delivery of key finance processes, ensuring transactions are completed accurately and in line with company controls. This is an excellent opportunity for someone at the early stages of their finance career who is looking to develop their skills in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. You will gain exposure to a wide range of finance activities, working closely with experienced team members while building a strong foundation for future progression within finance.

What you’ll be doing:
- Processing financial transactions, ensuring accuracy and timely completion.
- Supporting the maintenance of financial records and data integrity.
- Assisting with reconciliations and investigating any discrepancies.
- Supporting the resolution of queries, working with internal teams where required.
- Assisting with reporting and data preparation to support the wider finance team.
- Ensuring processes are followed in line with internal controls and procedures.
- Contributing to general administrative tasks and supporting continuous improvement activities.

What we’re looking for:
- A strong academic background, ideally in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- Some experience in a finance or administrative role, or a clear interest in pursuing a career in finance.
- Good Excel skills and confidence working with data.

- Good communication skills, with the ability to work effectively within a team.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage workload and meet deadlines.
- A proactive, reliable, and motivated approach, with a willingness to learn and develop.
