Contract: Full Time / Permanent

Salary: Circa £65,000 Dependent on experience + Bonus Scheme

About the Role: Our Group Finance Team has a new opportunity for a Group Finance Consolidation Manager. This key position oversees the consolidation process of financial information across the organisation on a monthly basis, ensuring accurate and timely consolidation of financial data and collaborating with cross‑functional teams to address accounting and reporting requirements. The Manager provides a consolidated view of the organisation’s financial performance.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Manage the end‑to‑end consolidation process, including collecting, validating, and consolidating financial data from reporting units.
  • Oversee the consolidated financial close, including special accounting periods (e.g. year‑end), and manage foreign exchange rates within the system.
  • Prepare consolidated financial data in accordance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Oversee intercompany transactions and reconciliations, ensuring accurate elimination and consolidation of intercompany balances and transactions.
  • Stay up to date with accounting policies and standards, ensuring compliance and consistency across the consolidation process.
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams, including finance and tax, to ensure accurate and timely consolidation of financial data.
  • Continuously evaluate and improve the consolidation process, streamlining workflows and implementing best practices to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
  • Coordinate with external auditors during the annual audit process, addressing audit queries and ensuring timely completion of audit deliverables.
  • Support the implementation of the Group’s financial consolidation tool, ensuring data integrity and optimising reporting capabilities.
  • Take ownership of the consolidation tool once live, ensuring its full integration into the month‑end close process.
  • Develop and maintain compliance with internal controls within the consolidation process.

What we’re looking for:

  • Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) or Equivalent
  • Technically strong and knowledge of IFRS
  • Experience in group accounting function – Preferred
  • Experience in preparing financial statements – Preferred
  • Experience with consolidation – Preferred
