Position Overview
We are seeking experienced travel professionals who can combine a passion for golf, with a strong knowledge of luxury golfing destinations around the world.
The Golf Travel Specialist is responsible for creating and managing tailored luxury golf travel experiences for clients of our golf division, Elegant Golf Resorts. This role requires knowledge of the premium golf destinations, their courses, and their resorts. Working closely with the Manager of Golf and Head of Leisure, the successful candidates will demonstrate high levels of customer service and golfing expertise. Using these skills, you will design seamless golf-focused travel experiences while fostering long-term client relationships and identifying growth opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a portfolio of clients, providing tailored golf travel experiences.
- Design bespoke golf travel itineraries, including access to top-tier golf courses, luxury resorts, and VIP experiences.
- Coordinate tee times, golf tournaments, and private coaching sessions for clients.
- Secure and process payments with discretion and efficiency.
- Collaborate with elite golf resorts and global suppliers.
- Stay up to date with the latest golf travel trends and maintain strong relationships within the golf industry.
- Attention to detail to ensure all travel documentation and reservations are managed efficiently.
- Consistently meet and exceed personal KPIs and client expectations.
- Promote Elegant Golf Travel’s brand identity and commitment to excellence.
- Participate in industry events, training sessions, and networking opportunities to build knowledge and expertise.
- Assist in Identifying new destinations and areas for service improvement.
Skills & Experience Required:
- Experience in luxury golf travel and golf destinations.
- Experience in GDS systems is preferred but not essential.
- Exceptional organisational skills with the ability to create seamless golf travel experiences.
- Self-motivated and capable of delivering exceptional service independently and within a team.
- Ability to manage complex golf travel itineraries with meticulous attention to detail.
