The Academy Operations Lead is responsible for the effective planning, coordination, and administration of all operational activities within the academy programme. Working closely with academy management, coaching, education, medical, and player care departments, the postholder will ensure the academy operates efficiently and remains fully compliant with the requirements of the Elite Player Performance Plan (EPPP), league regulations, and safeguarding standards. The role will lead the delivery of academy logistics, scheduling, governance, and stakeholder communication, supporting the development of players across all age groups while creating a professional, high-performance environment. The successful candidate will drive operational excellence, manage key administrative processes, oversee matchday and training operations, and contribute to the strategic growth and success of the academy.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the day-to-day operational management of the academy programme.
- Ensure compliance with EPPP standards, league regulations, safeguarding requirements, and club policies.
- Coordinate academy training schedules, fixtures, tours, events, and player development activities.
