Sheffield United Women's Academy are seeking a passionate Goalkeeping Coach to support the development of goalkeepers across the Emerging Talent Centre and Academy pathway. Working within a high-performance and ambitious environment, the successful candidate will play an important role in delivering high-quality coaching sessions, supporting individual player development, and helping goalkeepers maximise their full potential. The role will involve working closely with players, parents, and the wider multi-disciplinary team to deliver a structured and player-centred development programme. The successful candidate will contribute to both training and matchday provision, monitor goalkeeper progression through individual development plans, and support the continued growth of the Academy's goalkeeping pathway.
Key Role Responsibilities:
- Plan, deliver and evaluate innovative and engaging high quality coaching sessions to challenge and develop players in line with the youth phase.
- On matchday you will be required to manage, coach and assist designated goalkeepers.
- Perform regular Individual development plans with all players.
- Logging all sessions and session plans, monitoring and keeping up to date records of all sessions on Kitman Labs.
- Provide formal feedback to players and parents on a regular basis.
- Support and develop the Emerging Talent Centers (ETC) Goalkeepers within the U14s, U12s and U10s age group.
- Work with the Youth Pathway Lead to make decisions on Emerging Talent Center players who are on rolling 6-week blocks.
- Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team.
- Attend regular multidisciplinary meetings as required.
- Any other reasonable requests as directed by management.

Interview Process:
- 1st Stage - Getting to know you & Competency based questions: Wednesday 17th June (PM) & Friday 19th June (AM & PM).
- 2nd Stage - Practical Delivery: Tuesday 23rd June.
