Lead and coordinate the Academy programme for players within the Youth Development Phase (U12-U16). Ensure coaching delivery aligns with the Club’s Playing Philosophy and Coaching Philosophy. Support and mentor coaches working within the Youth Development Phase. Monitor and maintain high standards of session planning, delivery and player development. Ensure players receive an age-appropriate, challenging and engaging learning environment. Contribute to and oversee Individual Learning Plans, Multi-Disciplinary Reviews and Development Journeys. Work collaboratively with sports science, medical, education and recruitment departments. Support player transitions between phases and progression towards the Professional Development Phase. Monitor player wellbeing, safeguarding and welfare throughout the phase. Contribute to Academy audits, compliance processes and continuous improvement planning. Attend fixtures, training sessions and player review meetings as required. Maintain accurate records, reports and departmental information. Represent Rochdale AFC professionally at all times.
