The Stadium Technician plays a key role in ensuring the safe, efficient and compliant operation of the club’s stadium and associated facilities. The post holder will undertake planned preventative maintenance (PPM), reactive maintenance and technical support across all stadium infrastructure, ensuring the venue remains fully operational for football matches, conferences, concerts, community activities and commercial events.
Working as part of the Stadium Operations Team, the Stadium Technician will assist in maintaining the highest standards of safety, presentation and statutory compliance while supporting matchday operations and business continuity. You will work alongside the club’s maintenance team and carry out a wide variety of tasks including semi-skilled tasks, painting, terrace seat repairs, pre-match preparations and post-match repairs. You will be expected to be professional and helpful with a good attitude to work.
About The Candidate
- Experience within facilities management, building services or maintenance engineering.
- Experience of planned preventative maintenance and fault finding.
- Knowledge of Health & Safety legislation.
- Ability to prioritise workloads under pressure.
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
- Competent using Microsoft Office and digital maintenance systems.
- Willingness to work evenings, weekends and matchdays.
- Excellent communication and team working abilities.
- Ability to adapt to various tasks.
- Aware of health and safety requirements.
