The successful candidate will support the delivery of analysis services to the First Team squad, assisting with the filming, coding and distribution of training and match footage. Working closely with coaching and analysis staff, the intern will contribute to the preparation of video and data insights designed to support player and team performance. The role requires strong organisational skills, excellent attention to detail and a proactive approach within a fast-paced football environment. Attendance at training sessions, home fixtures and selected away fixtures will be required.
Essential Criteria
- Studying towards or recently completed a degree in Sports Performance, Sports Science, Performance Analysis or a related discipline
- Strong understanding of football tactics and match analysis principles
- Excellent organisational and communication skills
- Good IT skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Highly motivated, proactive and eager to learn
- Availability to work evenings, weekends and matchdays
Desirable Criteria
- Experience using Hudl Sportscode, Hudl, Nacsport or similar analysis software
- Previous experience within a football or sporting environment
- FA Coaching qualifications
- Driving licence and access to transport
- Experience with video editing and presentation tools
