A fantastic opportunity has arisen to join the Newport County AFC Academy Medical & Performance Department. The Academy is seeking to recruit an Academy Bank Physiotherapist responsible for providing medical cover across both the Foundation & Youth Development Phases during training sessions and on matchdays. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in the delivery of effective assessment, treatment and rehabilitation of all injured Academy players.

- Extensive knowledge and experience of the role and the position
- Knowledge of applied anatomy and bio mechanics, including experience in assessing, managing and rehabilitating growth/sports injuries in adolescent adults
- In-depth understanding of growth and maturation and its implications for a developing athlete
- IT skills to include the ability to use Football Intelligence Platform (FIP) software and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word and Outlook)
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
