Are you passionate about creating exceptional events and delivering outstanding customer experiences? We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and organised Events Coordinator to join our Commercial team at Middlesbrough Football Club on a full-time, permanent basis.

The Events Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating conferences and events from initial enquiry through to successful delivery, ensuring every event is planned to the highest standard, maximising revenue opportunities whilst providing an exceptional customer experience. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong organisational and communication skills who is passionate about delivering outstanding events and contributing to the continued success and growth of the business.

  • Support with the planning, coordination and delivery of all Conference and Event booking enquiries.
  • Ensure booking details are accurately recorded and communicated with relevant departments to ensure client expectations are achieved.
  • Create event plans, timelines and schedules and develop detailed itineraries to ensure all deadlines and operations requirements are met.
  • Meet with clients or management to determine event objectives including vision, budget, and target audience.
  • Manage all event related administration including raising and updating function sheets, raising invoices and processing payments.
  • Act as the primary point of contact with the client before and during events where necessary.
  • Follow up with clients after the event to gather and review feedback, identify further business opportunities and to enhance the overall customer experience.
  • Support the commercial department with event promotion and inbound sales enquiries to maximise revenue generation.
  • Offer creative input towards the development of new business ideas to generate future revenue growth and profitability.

About The Candidate:

  • Have previous experience in event coordination.
  • Have experience of using event management booking systems.
  • Demonstrate a good understanding of event sales processes, coordination and delivery.
  • Be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office.
  • Be highly organised and methodical with excellent attention to detail.
  • Be able to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Be friendly and professional with excellent customer service skills.
  • Demonstrate excellent communication skills with the ability to develop strong working relationships.
