Location: Based at the Club's designated Development Centres (Cranford & Shepherd's Bush)
Hours: Casual/Sessional. Due to the nature of the post, evening work will be necessary.
Job Purpose: To coach and develop potential Queens Park Rangers Academy players within the Pre-Academy, Foundation and Youth Development Phases as part of our Development Centre Programme.

Role Accountabilities & Key Duties
- Carry out coaching duties as directed by the Development Centre Manager and/or Recruitment Manager (Academy)
- Ensure attendance registers and all other relevant paperwork is completed and up to date at all times
- Produce session plans and evaluate all work completed
- Ensure all player evaluations are completed and up to date at all times
- Together with the Development Centre Manager and Recruitment Manager (Academy), carry out regular Player/Coach meetings
- Responsible for all equipment used in carrying out their duties
- Attend Academy In-Service/CPD events
- Comply with all company policies/procedures. Adhere to all company regulations regarding policies, procedures, health, safety and security
- Participate in the appraisal process
- All other duties that may arise from time to time that fall within the scope of this position
About The Candidate
Qualifications
Essential:
- UEFA C Licence
- FA Level 1 Talent Identification Qualification
- Advanced DBS check
- Current FA Safeguarding Children Certificate
Desirable:
- UEFA B Licence (or enrolled on course and working towards it
Skills, Knowledge & Experience
Essential:
- Previous experience of coaching in an elite environment
- A clear understanding of the standards of behaviour and codes of conduct required within the Academy
- A good understanding of Child Protection legislation
- Must hold a valid driver's licence
- Good interpersonal skills
- Good communication skills
- IT skills to include a high level using Word and Excel
