Academy Kit Coordinator and Facility support in Crewe

Overall Objective: The Academy Kit Coordinator will be responsible for the organisation, preparation and distribution of all Academy match day kit and equipment across all Academy age groups. The role ensures that all Academy players and teams have the appropriate kit and equipment available to support the delivery of a professional and high performance environment. The Academy Kit Coordinator will also undertake general cleaning duties at the training ground and offering support to the maintenance team as and when required.

Main Duties/Responsibilities

• Prepare and distribute training and matchday kit for all academy age groups, both home and away
• Ensure all kit is washed, clean, organised and available for fixtures
• Manage the collection, laundering, drying and storage of academy kit and equipment
• Ensure kit room, storage areas and dressing rooms are maintained to a professional standard
• Coordinate the transportation of kit and equipment to away fixtures and tournaments
• Ensure all matchday requirements are available, including playing kit, warm up training wear, balls, bibs cones etc
• Support coaching staff with any pre and post match requirements
• Monitor academy kit stock levels and equipment inventory
• Liaise with club purchasing department regarding replacement orders
• Maintain accurate records of all kit and equipment

Facility Support

• Be a key holder for the training ground, opening and locking up the facility if and when required

• Offer support to the current maintenance team at the training ground by supporting and assisting in aspects of their work as and when required
• Assist with cleaning and maintenance duties at the training ground
• Ensure that all kit and training equipment is safely stored
• Maintain safe working practices within the kit room and storage areas
• Comply with club policies and safeguarding procedures
