We have a fantastic opportunity for an Academy Therapist to join the Academy team. This is a part time role on a zero hours basis.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide pitch side first aid cover for fixtures and training.
  • Ensure the first aid equipment is in date, accessible and transported to the appropriate venues.
  • When requested, attend before, during and after training/games.
  • Provide a verbal and written handover for relevant injured players to the appropriate full time and casual medical staff.
  • Ensuring that any safeguarding and welfare concerns of all Academy players are raised and dealt with in an appropriate manner.
  • To assist in fitness testing and anthropometric testing of all Academy players.
  • To maintain up to date medical records.

  • Treat all colleagues as customers, ensuring respectful, positive outcomes across all communications.

About The Candidate

Qualifications & Knowledge:

  • Sports Therapy/Sports Rehabilitation/Physiotherapy Undergraduate Degree.
  • Intermediate Trauma Medical Management in Football (ITMMiF) or Advanced Trauma Medical Management in Football (ATMMiF).
  • Experience of working with Sports Injuries and/or Paediatric Patients.
  • Ongoing CPD.
