Key Responsibilities:
- To coach and support the development of all players in all aspects of technical, tactical, physical, psychological, social and emotional aspects of football.
- To manage the players in all coaching sessions and Academy fixtures.
- To liaise with the players/parents regarding their progress and development on a regular basis.
- Take responsibility for the players' welfare and safety during Academy coaching sessions/fixtures.
- To supervise all players during Academy travel to and from away fixtures.
- To manage and maintain all kit and equipment provided by BWFC.
- To compile Individual Players reviews and game reports on a weekly basis, using the Football Intelligence Platform.
- To plan and deliver Player Performance Reviews and Parent/Guardian meetings twice yearly (November and April), in line with Academy guidelines.
General Responsibilities:
- Be an ambassador of the Group, providing excellent customer service at all times whilst portraying a professional image both internally and externally.
- Treat all colleagues as customers, ensuring respectful, positive outcomes across all communications.
- Adhere to and abide by all BWFC policies, procedures and guidelines, especially remembering responsibilities to others under Equal Opportunities, Health and Safety, Equality and Diversity.
- Perform other duties as required, which are considered relevant to the role and to the objectives of BWFC.
About The Candidate
Qualifications & Knowledge:
- Hold a minimum of a UEFA B Licence.
- Hold or are working towards the relevant age-related coaching qualification, i.e. FA Youth Award Modules.
- Be a member or intend to become a member of the FA Licensed Coaching Club.
- Hold in date and valid Safeguarding Children and Emergency 1st Aid certification.
