Are you analytical, detail-oriented, and passionate about financial markets?

A leading London-based investment firm is seeking a Trading Assistant to join its (SRT) investment team.

This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic and fast-paced trading environment, working closely with experienced professionals across credit markets.

Role Summary

The successful candidate will support the trading desk in the execution and monitoring of trades, reporting, and analysis across structured credit products. This role is ideal for a highly motivated individual with a strong academic background and a keen interest in financial markets.

Key Responsibilities

Daily preparation and analysis of PnL, liquidity, and risk reports

Reconciliation of PnL with Middle Office/Finance

Trade execution in bonds, CDS, options, and FX

Monitoring trade settlement and reconciliation processes

Oversight of fund liquidity metrics

Analysis and review of transaction reporting across SRT and ABS

Required Qualifications

Degree from a top-tier university in a technical, finance, or economics-related field

Solid understanding of structured credit markets, CDS, bonds, and options

Prior experience in trade execution is desirable but not essential

Familiarity with trade settlement and operational processes

Proficiency in trading systems and market data platforms

Technical Skills

Strong Excel and financial modelling capabilities

Basic programming knowledge (e.g. VBA, SQL)

Experience with Bloomberg or similar market data systems

Knowledge of Enfusion is a plus

Strong communication and interpersonal skills
