We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Reward Analyst to join a Reward team on a six-month fixed-term contract. The successful candidate will support a range of compensation activities, including the annual salary and bonus review, salary benchmarking, data analysis, reporting and wider reward initiatives.

This is an opportunity to join a small, collaborative Reward team during one of the busiest periods in the reward calendar, helping to deliver the year-end compensation review process.

The role requires strong numerical and analytical skills, advanced Excel capability, good knowledge of HR systems and the ability to manage multiple priorities while working to tight deadlines.

The position is based in London and operates on a hybrid basis, with attendance in the office required every Tuesday and Thursday.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the annual salary and bonus review process, including data preparation, validation, system administration and reporting.
  • Analyse reward and employee data to identify trends, draw insights and support informed decision-making.
  • Assist with salary benchmarking and compensation analysis.
  • Work closely with the People Systems team to ensure accurate reward data inputs and system updates.
  • Support salary budget modelling, tracking and reconciliation activities.
  • Assist with regulatory and corporate reporting requirements.
  • Manage reward-related queries and requests through the team's shared mailbox, ensuring timely and accurate responses.
  • Contribute to wider Reward projects, initiatives and process improvement activities.
  • Maintain high standards of data accuracy, integrity and confidentiality across all analysis and reporting.
  • Ensure deliverables are completed accurately and within agreed deadlines.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience

  • Previous experience in a Reward, Compensation, HR Analytics, Data Analysis or similar analytical role.
  • Experience supporting annual salary review and bonus processes.
  • Strong numerical and analytical skills, with excellent attention to detail.
  • Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables, lookups and the manipulation of large datasets.
  • Experience using HR systems such as Workday, SuccessFactors or similar platforms.
  • Proven ability to produce clear, accurate reports and present data in an accessible format.
  • Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and deliver high-quality work within tight deadlines.
  • A methodical approach to data checking, validation and problem-solving.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • The ability to build strong working relationships and collaborate effectively with colleagues across different teams.
  • Experience within financial services or another regulated environment would be advantageous.
