We are partnering with a global asset management business to appoint a Marketing Technology Manager within its international marketing function on an initial 12 month contract basis. This newly created role has been established to improve operational efficiency, enhance marketing technology capabilities and support the delivery of scalable content and marketing processes across multiple regions.
This is a highly collaborative position sitting at the intersection of marketing, technology and operations. Working with stakeholders across marketing, compliance, legal and technology teams, you will be responsible for delivering projects that improve workflow efficiency, strengthen governance and enhance the effectiveness of marketing operations.
The opportunity would suit a commercially minded project manager with experience in marketing operations, content operations or marketing technology who enjoys driving process improvements and delivering tangible business outcomes through technology and automation.
The successful candidate will be involved in:
- Managing marketing technology and content operations projects from planning through to successful delivery
- Developing project plans, timelines and delivery frameworks to ensure initiatives remain on track
- Implementing workflow automation solutions to improve content production, review and distribution processes
- Identifying opportunities to enhance operational efficiency through technology, process improvements and platform optimisation
- Maintaining and developing marketing operations roadmaps focused on scalability, automation and user experience
- Working closely with marketing, compliance, legal and technology teams to ensure successful project execution
- Translating technical concepts and operational complexities into clear, actionable updates for non-technical stakeholders
- Managing external technology vendors, platform providers and implementation partners
- Monitoring project budgets and ensuring initiatives are delivered within agreed financial parameters
- Creating and maintaining process documentation, operating procedures and workflow standards
- Supporting the development of governance frameworks and operational best practices
- Utilising workflow management platforms to improve visibility, reporting and workload management
- Contributing to the adoption of AI-enabled tools and automation initiatives across marketing operations
The ideal candidate should have:
- Experience managing projects within marketing operations, content operations or marketing technology environments
- Strong understanding of content lifecycles, approval processes and distribution workflows
- Experience working with content management, CRM, sales enablement or client data platforms
- Knowledge of systems such as Salesforce, Seismic or similar marketing technology platforms
- Proven experience implementing automation tools and operational improvements
- Familiarity with workflow management platforms such as Adobe Workfront or equivalent solutions
- Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple concurrent workstreams
- Excellent communication skills and confidence engaging a broad range of stakeholders
- Strong organisational capabilities and a structured approach to delivery
- Understanding of asset management products, distribution channels or regulated financial services environments
- Exposure to AI-driven marketing workflows, automation initiatives or content operations enhancements
- Knowledge of governance, regulatory content management or multi-jurisdiction marketing processes would be advantageous
- A project management qualification such as PRINCE2 or PMP would be beneficial but is not essential
