We're working with a leading organisation on a large-scale SAP RISE transformation and are looking for a Senior Data Manager. This is a senior, hands-on role where you will drive data quality improvements upstream and influence senior stakeholders across finance, supplier and operational data domains. You'll support data migration and enhancement initiatives as part of the SAP RISE programme, ensuring high-quality, standardised data for the business.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead data quality improvements at source and advocate for best practice across the organisation
- Develop data quality rules and input into solution design
- Define and implement data governance policies, standards, and controls
- Support SAP RISE data migration and transformation activities
- Conduct impact analysis across key data domains (finance, tax, supplier onboarding)
- Steer delivery alongside programme leadership
- Collaborate with vendors and internal teams to ensure compliance with data requirements and standards
- Promote a data quality mindset across business and technical teams
Required Experience & Skills:
- Significant experience as a Senior Data Manager on large-scale transformation programmes
- Proven ability to drive data quality improvements upstream
- Strong executive influence and stakeholder management skills
- Experience with SAP data structures preferred (ECC / S/4 / RISE)
- Strong programme awareness: delivery oversight, RAID and steering committees
- Experience with tools such as dbt, Tableau or governance tools like Collibra is desirable
- Ability to operate independently and provide senior-level recommendations
