Responsibilities:

  • Assist with due diligence and fund underwriting processes for both existing and potential new investment managers.
  • Support the maintenance and enhancement of investment monitoring systems and documentation processes.
  • Conduct quantitative analysis to complement qualitative research across the manager universe, including performance measurement, risk assessment, and peer comparisons.
  • Perform portfolio analytics for the fund, examining exposures, attribution, and fundamental characteristics.
  • Prepare clear, well-structured written reports documenting investment research and recommendations.
  • Participate in (and eventually lead) meetings with external investment managers and other industry counterparties.

Requirements:

  • Degree required, master's degree or professional designation (CFA or equivalent) preferred.
  • Proven experience in investment manager research with a focus on active global equity/global equities strategies.
  • Previous experience in manager research, manager selection, fund research, or fund selection as required.
  • Experience in evaluating third-party investment managers through both desk research and in-person meetings.
  • Understanding of how to integrate ESG considerations into investment analysis and monitoring.
