I'm working exclusively with a leading global reinsurer to find a Senior Actuarial Analyst for their Longevity team - a rare, broad role combining new deal execution, in-force management, and real commercial exposure.

The opportunity:

  • Work across the full deal lifecycle - from pricing and execution through to long-term in-force management
  • Client-facing from day one, building relationships on 30+ year deals
  • Input into contract design and deal structuring
  • Global scope - UK, US, Nordics, Central Europe
  • Flat team of ~10, reporting directly to senior leadership

Who they're looking for:

  • Nearly or newly qualified actuary (circa 4+ years' experience)
  • Background in DB pensions, BPA, longevity reinsurance, or life insurance
  • Commercially minded - able to see the bigger picture, not just the numbers
  • Strong communicator, comfortable with clients and senior stakeholders
  • Solid Excel/modelling skills; R or Python a bonus

This is a genuine step-change role for someone who wants broader exposure, more commercial involvement, and the chance to contribute to a growing global function - not just execute in a narrow technical lane.
