About the role:
The successful candidate will be an experienced ‘hands on’ KDB developer. Prior experience of distributed systems and statistical analysis is desired. The ability to react quickly to business changes and liaise with a variety of front office technology colleagues. As part of a global team, the successful candidate will also be responsible for making business and regulatory driven changes.
Skills:
- Experience with KDB/Q
- Technical design skills that focus on code reuse and ease of maintenance
- Excellent troubleshooting, unit testing, and problem-solving skills
- Experience with Java and JavaEE applications
- Experience with JSCRIPT and Web UI technologies is a big plus
- Previous exposure to equities and equities trading flows is a big plus
- Previous exposure to Microsoft Azure or other cloud technologies a plus
- Previous experience with Fitnesse, Automated testing tools, GITLAB & ServiceNow is a plus
