A fast-growing Asset Manager is looking to hire an Investor Relations Associate into its Capital Formation/Distribution team. This is not a typical IR support role. The position sits at the intersection of fundraising, investor coverage and the investment teams, offering exposure to senior LPs, consultants and portfolio managers from day one. The role would suit someone with 3–6 years’ experience in private credit, fund finance or a placement environment who is highly organised, detail-oriented and looking to develop into a broader investor coverage professional. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys execution, project management and process improvement, but who also wants a clear path into more meaningful relationship management responsibility over time.

Key responsibilities:

  • Owning and coordinating responses to investor requests and due diligence
  • Producing and upgrading investor marketing materials and reporting
  • Managing CRM quality, reporting and fundraising pipeline visibility
  • Supporting senior team members in the coverage of sophisticated LPs and consultants
  • Gradually taking on increased responsibility for direct investor coverage
  • Working closely with investment teams to ensure high quality, timely investor communication

Relevant background:

  • 3–5 years in private credit (buyside or placement agent preferred)
  • Exposure to fund finance is highly attractive
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Highly organised with strong attention to detail
  • Comfortable working across multiple internal and external stakeholders
