On behalf of Deutsche Bank, we are looking for a Business Functional Analyst for a 6 Month contract based in London ( 3 days per week in the office and 2 from home).

Job description - the role

Purpose of the role:

The experienced Business Functional Analyst will join the Collateral Management & Valuations team within the Fixed Income & Currencies (FIC) division, to play a key role in delivering strategic initiatives, regulatory change, platform transformation and business process optimisation across collateral, margin, valuation and post-trade ecosystems.

What you'll do:

  • Identify the full range of business requirements and translate requirements into specific functional specifications for solution development and implementation.
  • Analyse business requirements and the associated impacts of the changes.
  • Design and assist businesses in developing optimal target state business processes.
  • Create and execute against roadmaps that focus on solution development and implementation.
  • Align with other key stakeholder groups (such as Project Management & Software Engineering) to support the link between the business divisions and the solution providers for all aspects of identifying, implementing and maintaining solutions.
  • Partner with business and technology stakeholders to identify, analyse and document business requirements.
  • Translate business needs into clear functional specifications to support solution design, development and implementation, answering questions of methodological approach with varying levels of complexity.
  • Develop and execute delivery roadmaps that support strategic objectives and business transformation initiatives.

The skills you'll need:

  • Experience as a Senior Business Analyst within Capital Markets, Investment Banking, or Financial Services environments.
  • Deep understanding of: Bilateral OTC Derivatives, Cleared OTC Products, Repo and Securities Financing Transactions (SFT), Listed Derivatives, Collateral and Margin Management, Valuations and Market Data and End-to-End Post-Trade Processing.
  • Experience delivering regulatory, strategic and transformation initiatives.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively across technical and non-technical audiences.
