Job Description:
- Direct and manage the operational side of the business, which includes trading operations and corporate functions such as finance, risk, compliance, legal, HR, product, and administration.
- Establish, maintain, and deliver on comprehensive KPIs for both teams and individuals under the COO remit.
- Regular reporting to other executives and global stakeholders, including meeting all regulatory requirements.
- Create and deliver strategies and cross-functional projects that guide the company towards greater operational efficiency and greater end-user adoption.
- Participate in expansion activities such as corporate alliances where necessary.
- Work closely with the rest of the executive team in order to incorporate market feedback into existing business processes.
- Employ various initiatives to coach employees, optimize their performance, and grow capabilities.
Background and Experience:
- Undergraduate study in business, finance, engineering, or other relevant subjects.
- Natural interest in capital markets and crypto/digital assets.
- 15+ years of experience in operational or equivalent roles within traditional and digital finance, including 5+ years in a management role, across multiple geographies.
- Capacity to mentor and train team members.
- Highly motivated and organized with systems-based thinking.
- Excellent communication skills.
- A natural leader able to navigate across many different stakeholders and their needs.
- Fluency in English to business level is mandatory.
- The preference is to have someone based in London, but they will consider suitable candidates based in a European time zone.
