Our client, a well-established London-based hedge fund with a strong track record and several years of successful operation, is seeking to hire a Trade Settlement Analyst to join its growing team. This opportunity offers broad exposure across multiple areas of the business within a dynamic and fast-paced investment management environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform T0 and T+1 reconciliations across trades, cash, and positions
  • Liaise closely with Prime Brokers and fund administrators to ensure timely resolution of breaks and efficient operational processes
  • Manage corporate action monitoring and election processing
  • Assist in maintaining and enhancing operational infrastructure and portfolio management systems
  • Oversee cash management activities and daily margin monitoring
  • Coordinate with both internal teams and external counterparties to facilitate daily trading operations
  • Support FX share class hedging activities
  • Assist with treasury-related operations
  • Contribute to ongoing improvements across compliance, operational controls, and risk management processes

Candidate Requirements

  • Minimum of 3-8 years’ experience within operations or a related middle-office function at a hedge fund, proprietary trading firm, asset manager, or investment bank
  • Proactive and entrepreneurial mindset, with the ability to perform effectively in a high-pressure environment
  • Advanced Excel skills are essential; VBA or other programming knowledge would be advantageous
  • Strong understanding of equities and equity market operations
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively within a lean team structure
