About the role
We are seeking a compassionate Care Assistant to deliver high‑quality, personal care to residents in a way that respects the dignity of the individual and promotes independence. Working alongside clinical and senior care teams, you’ll help create a safe, engaging and comfortable environment where residents can thrive.
What you'll do:
- Deliver personal care in line with care plans and procedures and document accurately.
- Report any changes, concerns, incidents or complaints promptly to senior staff.
- Support residents with social activities, routines and meaningful engagement.
- Maintain a clean, safe and secure environment and ensure equipment is used and stored safely.
- Maintain confidentiality and comply with all policies; take responsibility for ongoing learning and development.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Secondary school education with good numeracy and literacy.
- Ability to communicate clearly in English.
- Level 2 in Care (or willingness to work towards it).
- Experience caring for older people.
- Basic knowledge of Care Workers’ Codes of Practice.
