About the Role

We're seeking an outstanding Registered Home Manager to lead Rush Court into its next chapter, ensuring that our residents and those who care for them can flourish.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the home with compassion, ensuring every resident feels safe, valued and supported to live a fulfilling and independent life.
  • Take overall responsibility as Registered Manager, ensuring the home meets all CQC and regulatory standards while maintaining the highest quality of care.
  • Support a thoughtful and person‑centred admissions process, working closely with residents, families and healthcare professionals.
  • Inspire and lead a dedicated team, creating a positive, inclusive culture where colleagues feel engaged, supported and proud of the care they provide.
  • Oversee the day‑to‑day running of the home, including effective budget management, to ensure a high‑quality and sustainable service.
  • Work closely with People teams to nurture, develop and support colleagues throughout their journey.
  • Build meaningful relationships with families, the local community and partners, while promoting the home and creating a welcoming, vibrant environment.
  • Ensure that initiatives are developed and undertaken to maximise occupancy and revenue growth.

Qualifications

  • A Level 5 Diploma in Health and Social Care Management (or equivalent), or a higher qualification in a related field.
  • Experience of delivering high‑quality, person‑centred care within a care home setting for older people.
  • A proven ability to lead, support and inspire a diverse team, creating a positive and inclusive environment.
  • Strong communication skills, with the confidence to build trusted relationships with residents, families, colleagues and healthcare professionals.
  • Confidence using IT systems to record, analyse and share information clearly and accurately.
  • An understanding of best practice in clinical care and quality standards for older people.
  • A proactive and collaborative approach, with a willingness to support marketing and engagement activities within the local community.
  • The ability to meet the good character and health requirements set out in Regulation 7 of the Health and Social Care Act.
  • Be a Registered General Nurse, or a Registered Mental Health Nurse (desirable).
