Location and Work Details: Rush Court Care Home, Shillingford Road, Wallingford, Oxfordshire OX10 8LL. Permanent – Full-time, 40 hours a week. Please note, there is limited public transport and you need to reliably commute to this area.
About the Role: You will assist in the preparation and service of meals and beverages to residents, always offering a prompt and courteous service. In addition to this, you will clean and maintain kitchens and equipment. Prior experience is desirable but not required; training will be provided.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with the preparation of food as directed.
- Maintain a sound knowledge of food to be served.
- Listen to residents and report any complaints or requests raised by residents.
- Adhere to all Food Hygiene, Health and Safety and COSHH regulations.
- Clean and maintain kitchen appliances, surfaces and floors as per the cleaning schedule.
