Overview

EFG Private Bank is seeking a graduate to work as part of the risk management team in London as a Risk Analyst. This is a high-profile role within a small team of risk subject matter experts, providing the job holder with a great opportunity to interact with senior stakeholders across the Bank. You will also be given fantastic exposures, where you will learn about our businesses, develop important relationships, and build career-enhancing skills.

Responsibilities

  • Supporting the execution of the Risk Management Framework across Operational, Financial and Credit Risk.
  • Managing the production and delivery of monthly and quarterly risk reporting and presentations to the Bank\\\'s Management Committee, Board Risk Committee and Board.
  • Delivering process improvement for risk reporting and implementing group systems and process to enhance local reporting.
  • Supporting the Head of Financial Risk in the delivery of scenario analysis and risk modelling for the Bank\\\'s ILAAP and ICAAP.
  • Supporting the Head of Operational Risk in the delivery of monthly and quarterly risk reporting for the Bank\\\'s Operational and Regulatory Risk Committee and Channel Island entities.
  • Managing the end to end process for risk metrics, including annual review and challenge of metrics components and risk dashboards, monthly reporting and alignment with the Group metrics.
  • Provide support for the Global Risk & Compliance (GRC) tool including the review of Operational Risk Incidents (ORI\\\'s).
  • Managing the Risk \"Regulatory Radar\" to identify and assess regulatory developments and report on impact to the relevant risk committees.
  • Providing risk input/ support to bank-wide activities and projects as required.
  • Delivering process improvement for risk reporting and implementing group systems and process to enhance local reporting.

Required knowledge, skills and experience

  • Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate with others; must be self-motivated.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to confidently communicate with all levels of seniority.
  • Advanced Excel skills (large data set manipulation essential); VBA and Power BI are a strong advantage.
  • Excellent numeracy skills (maths degree or equivalent preferred).
  • Prior internship experience in the banking or consulting industry is highly desirable.
  • The candidate must be accurate and be able to deliver work of a consistently high standard.
  • Good time management skills - Ability to prioritise responsibilities within set deadlines.
