Job Description
We are looking for a proactive Client Services Officer (CSO) who is passionate about client engagement and eager to contribute to our mission of empowering entrepreneurial minds to create lasting value. In this role, you will be a vital link between clients and our internal teams, ensuring the seamless execution of customer instructions while building strong relationships in a stimulating and dynamic work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- The CSO will assist the Client Relationship Officers (CROs) with banking and client-related administration such as transfers and payments, foreign exchange, monitoring and fixing of bank deposits and processing of purchases and securities sales.
- Assuming responsibility for primary point of contact with clients; following-up on pending issues and escalating to the CRO if necessary.
- Internal stakeholder management such as Operations, Compliance and offshore entities as required for the completion of annual reviews and onboarding documents.
- Promoting, recommending and arranging banking and investment products and services once relevant qualifications have been attained.
- Preparing any documental support on behalf of the CRO to ensure timely completion of periodic reviews and onboarding submissions.
- Completing and processing credit applications and reviews as well as managing new loans from approval through to drawdown.
- Performing research work upon CRO’s request.
- Acting as the contact person on behalf of the team for the internal stakeholders within the bank whenever needed (troubleshooting, requests, etc.).
- Complying with the Code of Conduct and all internal regulations (e.g. Cross Border, AML, Clear Desk Policy, Absence Management).
Skills and experience
- Experience: 1-3 years of demonstrable experience in a similar role within private banking or financial services.
- Knowledge: Strong understanding of private banking processes, financial products, and regulatory requirements (KYC, AML, FATCA, CRS).
- Technical Skills: Proficient in standard IT systems; ability to quickly learn new software.
- Qualifications: IAD Level 4 & CeMAP preferred.
- Personal Attributes: Service-oriented and client-focused mindset, strong team player with a collaborative spirit, high level of confidentiality and discretion, proactive and self-motivated, detail-oriented, accurate, and reliable, open-minded and eager to learn new skills.
