Heat Pump Service & Repair Engineer
We are recruiting for an experienced Heat Pump Service & Repair Engineer to join a well-established and growing renewable heating company.
This is an excellent opportunity for an engineer with hands-on experience servicing, maintaining and repairing Air Source Heat Pump (ASHP) systems.
You will be covering domestic properties across Hampshire, Surrey and Berkshire, carrying out planned servicing, fault finding and repairs.
The role offers a salary of up to £45,000, a fully equipped company van and fuel card, overtime opportunities and ongoing training within the renewable heating sector.
The Role
- As a Heat Pump Service & Repair Engineer, your responsibilities will include:
- Servicing and repairing Air Source Heat Pump systems within domestic properties.
- Diagnosing faults and identifying appropriate repairs.
- Carrying out routine maintenance and safety checks.
- Ensuring heating systems are operating safely and efficiently.
- Troubleshooting electrical, mechanical and heating system faults.
- Ensuring all work is completed in line with relevant regulations and industry standards.
- Providing a professional service to customers while working within occupied properties.
- Completing accurate records of work undertaken and parts used.
- Managing your workload effectively while travelling between customer sites.
What We're Looking For
To be considered for this Heat Pump Service & Repair Engineer position, you will ideally have:
- Previous experience servicing and repairing Air Source Heat Pumps (ASHP).
- Strong fault-finding and diagnostic experience.
- Unvented G3 Certification.
- Relevant renewable energy, heating or heat pump qualifications.
- Good knowledge of domestic heating and hot water systems.
- Strong mechanical and electrical fault-finding abilities.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- The ability to work independently and manage your own workload.
- A full UK driving licence.
- What's On Offer
- £40,000 - £45,000 salary, depending on experience.
- Monday to Friday working hours - 8:00am to 5:00pm.
- 42.5-hour working week.
