Air Conditioning Engineer We are recruiting for an experienced Air Conditioning Engineer / HVAC Engineer to join a well-established and growing engineering business providing commercial HVAC services to customers throughout the UK. The successful Air Conditioning Engineer will operate primarily from their home region, with engineers positioned across different areas of the UK. There will also be a requirement to travel further afield when required to support customer sites. Air Conditioning Engineer / HVAC Engineer Role As an Air Conditioning Engineer / HVAC Engineer, you will be responsible for servicing, testing, repairing and installing a wide variety of commercial air conditioning equipment. Key Air Conditioning Engineer / HVAC Engineer responsibilities will include: Responding to service and breakdown calls Testing and servicing air conditioning equipment Diagnosing faults and carrying out repairs Working across split systems, VRV/VRF systems and water chillers Carrying out air conditioning installations Providing technical advice and support to customers Ensuring work is completed to a high standard Communicating professionally with customers on site Reporting directly to the Technical Service Manager Travelling to customer sites across the UK when required Air Conditioning Engineer / HVAC Engineer Requirements The successful Air Conditioning Engineer / HVAC Engineer will need a strong commercial air conditioning background, with experience across servicing, repairs, fault-finding and installation. The Air Conditioning Engineer / HVAC Engineer will ideally have: NVQ Level 2 and/or Level 3 or equivalent F-Gas Category 1 Strong commercial air conditioning experience Previous installation experience Experience working with split systems Experience with VRV/VRF systems Experience working with water chillers Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills Electrical experience would be advantageous Good customer-facing and communication skills Ability to work independently in a mobile engineering role Willingness to travel when required Air Conditioning Engineer / HVAC Engineer Salary & Benefits The company offers itsAir Conditioning Engineer / HVAC Engineer a strong employment package including: 40-hour working week £38-40k basic Overtime opportunities Door-to-door pay Company vehicle Company mobile phone / tablet 23 days' annual holiday plus bank holidays Attendance bonus of £0.80 per contracted hour Ongoing training and development Long-term career progression opportunities This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Air Conditioning Engineer / HVAC Engineer looking to join an established engineering business with more than 30 years' experience and a growing nationwide service operation.
