Generator Engineer We are recruiting for an experienced Generator Engineer to join a long-established specialist engineering business covering the Midlands. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Generator Engineer to join a highly established company, carrying out the service, maintenance, fault finding and installation of generators and associated control systems at customer sites. The position would suit an electrically biased Generator Engineer with strong mechanical knowledge and proven experience diagnosing faults across generator control panels, switchgear and associated equipment. The Role As a Generator Service Engineer, your responsibilities will include: Carrying out service and planned maintenance on generators and associated equipment. Diagnosing and repairing mechanical and electrical generator faults. Carrying out generator installations at customer premises. Servicing, maintaining and fault finding on generator control systems. Diagnosing faults across generator control panels and switchgear. Carrying out portable proof load bank testing. Working with Deep Sea controllers and associated generator control equipment.
