Domestic Heating Breakdown Engineer
We are recruiting for an experienced Domestic Heating Breakdown Engineer to join an established heating and plumbing business covering Birmingham and the surrounding areas.
As a Domestic Heating Breakdown Engineer, you will primarily attend domestic properties carrying out boiler breakdowns, fault finding, servicing and emergency heating and plumbing repairs.
The role
- Boiler breakdowns, diagnostics and fault finding
- Domestic boiler servicing and repairs
- Emergency plumbing and heating repairs
- Leak tracing and access
- Basic plumbing repairs
- Work across a variety of boiler manufacturers
- Complete reports, photographs and Gas Safe documentation
- Participate in a weekend rota
- Deliver excellent customer service as a Domestic Heating Breakdown Engineer
- The successful Domestic Heating Breakdown Engineer will need
- Minimum 3 years' boiler breakdown and repair experience
- Strong domestic heating and plumbing knowledge
- Experience across a range of boiler manufacturers
- CCN1
- CENWAT
- CKR1
- HTR1
- NVQ Level 2 Plumbing, City & Guilds or substantial relevant experience
- G3 Unvented Hot Water would be advantageous
- Full UK driving licence
- Strong fault-finding skills expected of an experienced Domestic Heating Breakdown Engineer
