Commercial Gas Engineer
We are looking for an experienced Commercial Gas Engineer to join a growing mechanical and electrical building services company covering Kent/South-East.
This is a permanent position carrying out planned and reactive gas and heating works, with a particular focus on commercial boiler servicing, maintenance and breakdowns. The successful Commercial Gas Engineer will be provided with a company van, fuel card, uniform and analyser, alongside opportunities to progress as the business continues to grow.
The Role
As a Commercial Gas Engineer, your responsibilities will include:
- Carrying out PPM on commercial heating systems
- Servicing and repairing commercial boilers
- Diagnosing and repairing boiler breakdowns
- Completing commercial gas installation and repair work
- Carrying out reactive maintenance
- Completing CP17 commercial gas certificates
- Diagnosing faults across gas and heating systems
- Recording completed works using a job management system
- Maintaining a high standard of workmanship
- Participating in an out-of-hours call-out rota of approximately 1 in 6
The Commercial Gas Engineer will be expected to work independently, diagnose faults effectively and ensure servicing and repair work is completed safely and professionally.
