Join our friendly and supportive finance team at Max Energy as a Credit Controller based at our Head Office in Leicester. You will play a key role in managing our customer accounts, ensuring timely payments and supporting healthy cash flow across the business.
Key responsibilities:
- Manage a portfolio of customer accounts, ensuring payments are received on time.
- Proactively chase overdue debt by phone and email, maintaining professional customer relationships.
- Resolve queries and discrepancies, working closely with internal teams to prevent delays in payment.
- Allocate and reconcile payments accurately against customer accounts.
- Produce aged debtor reports and highlight any areas of risk to the Finance Manager.
- Support with Sales Ledger processing.
About you:
- Previous experience in a credit control or similar finance role.
- High attention to detail and good organisational skills.
- Positive, reliable, team-focused attitude with a willingness to get involved and support colleagues.
