The role is crucial to ensuring the smooth running of solar PV installation across the country. Managing a small team to provide excellent service within agreed timelines and maximise efficiency.

Main Tasks, Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Manage and oversee the scheduling team to maximise efficiency and meet customer requirements.
  • Liaise with customers to ensure work is ready for install.
  • Work with DNOs and internal stakeholders to amend installation designs to meet DNO requirements.
  • Check that the solar team is working to the latest schedule for each site, chasing customers and other stakeholders for any changes.
  • Communicate any changes to the appropriate teams and follow up to ensure allowances for the changes have been made.
  • Support the Solar team in general administrative tasks including updating spreadsheets, install diaries, etc.
  • Develop and implement processes to improve performance against KPIs.
  • Create pick lists and install packs for the Warehouse and Solar Installers using in-house and build plan drawings.
  • Update internal systems to facilitate invoicing.
  • Maintain a flexible approach to working hours.
  • Ensure all associated administration duties are carried out in line with company procedures.
  • Adopt a professional and courteous approach at all times.
  • Strictly adhere to all Health and Safety procedures and ensure that the working environment is practical for both you and others.
  • Carry out any other reasonable duties commensurate with the post, which may be allocated from time to time.

Administrative Responsibilities:

  • Approve supplier invoices for payment and calculate engineer bonus monthly payments.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures in all purchasing activities.
