The role is crucial to ensuring the smooth running of solar PV installation across the country.

Duties:

  • Manage and oversee the scheduling of works to maximise efficiency.
  • Dealing with cancelled jobs and using initiative to try and fill gaps in the schedule / rebook failed visits.
  • Checking that the solar team is working to the latest schedule for each site, chasing customers and other stakeholders for any changes.
  • Communicate any changes to the appropriate teams and follow up to ensure allowances for the changes have been made.
  • Support the Solar team in general administrative tasks including updating spreadsheets, install diaries etc.
  • Create Pick lists and Install packs for the Warehouse and Solar Installers using in-house and build plan drawings.
  • Updating internal system to facilitate invoicing.
  • Approving supplier invoices for payment.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures in all purchasing activities.
  • Flexible approach to working hours.
  • Ensure all associated administration duties are carried out in line with company procedures.
  • Ensure that a professional and courteous approach is always adopted.
  • Strictly adhere to all Health and Safety procedures and ensure that the working environment is practical for both you and others.
  • And any other reasonable duties commensurate with the post, which may be allocated from time to time.
  • Liaise with customers (New Build sites) to take install appointments and to ensure work is ready for install.
