To co-ordinate the day to day delivery of an effective and efficient Communications and Marketing Section across the range of Council Communications and Marketing policies and the full suite of Communications and Marketing functions, ensuring the co-ordinated provision of a modern, professional and responsive Communications and Marketing service in a consistent and continuous manner.
Duration of Appointment
Permanent.
Work Pattern
36hrs Monday – Friday.
This post is eligible to participate in the Flexi Scheme.

Whilst the Council are recruiting for a permanent Senior Communications and Marketing Officer in Downpatrick, please note that a reserve list will be compiled for future permanent, temporary, full time and part time Senior Communications and Marketing Officer positions at Council Offices in Downpatrick, Newry and other Council locations for a period of 12 months.
Salary
PO2 spinal point 31-34, £43,149 – £46,579 per annum based on a 36 hour week (pro rata to hours worked). Plus 19% employer pension contribution. It is Council policy to appoint at minimum salary scale point.
