Join our collaborative team as a Pre-Sales Solution Architect and leverage your extensive knowledge of Oracle Cloud Applications (specifically within SCM and Distribution) to engage with potential clients across the UK and Ireland. The Opportunity: Play a key role in guiding clients through their Oracle Cloud SCM (Distribution) digital transformation. You will lead detailed discovery workshops, thoroughly analyse complex client requirements, and recommend best-in-class technical solutions. Building strong, trusted advisor relationships will be paramount as you develop compelling technical proposals, presentations, and demonstrations.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Technical Solution Leadership: Take the lead in initial technical solution design for Oracle Cloud SCM implementations within the Distribution industry.
- Client Engagement: Conduct in-depth discovery sessions to understand business challenges and document detailed technical requirements.
- Expert Guidance: Provide expert guidance on business process workflows and the underlying technical solution architecture within Oracle Cloud SCM (Distribution).
- Strategic Contribution: Develop insightful perspectives on industry-leading practices to enhance client operational efficiency through effective technical solutions.
- Proposal & Presentation Development: Create and deliver persuasive technical proposals, presentations, and comprehensive product demonstrations.
- Technical Input for Proposals: Contribute your technical expertise to the development of accurate cost estimates and detailed statements of work.
- Client Relationship Management: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with clients and partners, acting as a key technical expert.
- Continuous Learning: Proactively stay updated on the latest advancements in Oracle Cloud SCM, particularly those relevant to Distribution.
- Delivery Team Collaboration: Facilitate seamless handovers to project delivery teams through thorough technical knowledge transfer.
What We’re Looking For:
- Education: A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
- Experience: 10+ years in consulting with Oracle E-Business Suite or Oracle Cloud Fusion Applications, with a strong emphasis on Supply Chain Management and Distribution.
- Implementation Success: A proven track record as a Solution Architect (or similar) on at least 3 full lifecycle Oracle Cloud SCM implementations.
- Deep SCM Knowledge: Extensive knowledge of business processes within Distribution and experience implementing multiple Oracle Cloud SCM modules, including: Order Management, Inventory, Warehouse Management System (WMS), Product Data Hub (PDH), Procurement, Subscription Management, Configure, Price, Quote (CPQ), CX Sales (with SCM implications), Incentive Compensation (related to sales/distribution), Order to Cash (OTM), Global Trade Management (GTM), and Product Lifecycle Management (PLM).
- Personal Attributes: Proactive, self-starting, highly motivated, and an excellent communicator.
- Analytical Skills: Outstanding analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Technical Proficiency: Strong skills in the Microsoft Office 365 suite.
- Location & Mobility: This is a remote working opportunity based within the UK with a willingness and ability to travel up to 30% to client sites located within the UK and Ireland.
