Join Guidant as we collaborate with Airbus, the world's largest aircraft manufacturer. We are seeking skilled Aircraft Fitters to join Airbus' team at the Broughton site, within the Wing Build Production section. If you have experience in manufacturing or engineering roles, you are invited to apply.

At Airbus Broughton, you'll help assemble wings for Airbus aircraft, including the A320, A330, and A350XWB families.

Role

Work on aircraft wings, which are among the most technically intricate components. Responsibilities include:

  • Assembly, fittings, and component installations.
  • Repairs on metallic and composite materials.
  • Occasional work in confined spaces or at heights.
Shift Options

Double Days: Week 1 - 06:00 to 13:10, Week 2 - 13:30 to 20:40 (Mon-Fri). Night shifts: 20:45 to 06:00 (Mon-Thu).

Requirements
  • Full Apprenticeship in Aerospace or Engineering.
  • Experience in roles like Sheet Metal Worker, Metal Fabricator, Welder, or Mechanical Fitter.
  • Additional accepted qualifications: City & Guilds Level 2, BTEC ONC, NVQ Level 2 or 3, Key Skills Level 2.
  • Self-motivated with excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in teams.
  • Commitment to health and safety standards.
