We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our client, supporting plant reliability and maintenance in a process plant environment. You will play a key role in carrying out planned and breakdown maintenance, diagnosing faults, and ensuring safety and efficiency across all plant operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine and emergency maintenance on plant machinery within your competence and authority.
- Diagnose faults and complete work orders in SAP.
- Isolate, test, and restart equipment safely.
- Participate in call-out rota for unscheduled maintenance.
- Maintain accurate project documentation and assist with site projects.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards.
What You'll Need
- Time-served Mechanical Technician with City & Guilds/NVQ Level 3, ONC, or HNC qualifications.
- Experience in a process plant environment, including mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation systems.
- Strong knowledge of health & safety legislation and COMAH requirements.
- Ability to work independently and make sound decisions.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
