We are recruiting for Mechanical and Electrical Engineers to join our expanding team based at our site in Barton-Upon-Humber. This role consists solely of afternoon shifts: four 10-hour shifts, Monday to Thursday, from 15:00 to 01:30.
Responsibilities:
- To carry out planned and reactive maintenance.
- Fault finding, PLC troubleshooting and maintaining, repairing conveyor systems, equipment and plant using all engineering disciplines to ensure minimum lost production time.
- To follow up any faults picked up on PPMs.
- Take ownership for working area; monitor key maintenance KPI's such as breakdowns and have a strong service-department mindset towards the operations.
- Keep and maintain all company issued tools in a safe and serviceable manner.
- To proactively work towards the continued success and support of the business with a can-do attitude.
- Ensure that you have read, understood and adhere to policies and procedures relating to Health and Safety, and your responsibilities located in the Integrated Management System (IMS) Responsibilities document.
Desired Skills and Knowledge:
- Minimum Level 3 Qualification in Mechanical Engineering/Electrical Engineering (Required).
- 18th Edition with valid IEE regulations (Desirable).
- Welding/Fabricating experience (Desirable).
- Understanding of PLC systems (Desirable).
- An ability to work well under pressure.
- Excellent technical skills and knowledge.
- Problem solving and team working skills.
- To think on your own initiative.
