We are recruiting for Mechanical and Electrical Engineers to join our expanding team based at our site in Barton-Upon-Humber. This role consists solely of afternoon shifts: four 10-hour shifts, Monday to Thursday, from 15:00 to 01:30.
Responsibilities include:
- Carrying out planned and reactive maintenance
- Fault finding, PLC troubleshooting, and maintaining, repairing conveyor systems, equipment and plant using all engineering disciplines to ensure minimum lost production time
- Following up on any faults picked up on PPMs
- Taking ownership for working area; monitoring key maintenance KPI's such as breakdowns
- Maintaining all company issued tools in a safe and serviceable manner
- Proactively working towards the continued success and support of the business with a can-do attitude
- Ensuring adherence to policies and procedures relating to Health and Safety
Desired Skills and Knowledge:
- Minimum Level 3 Qualification in Mechanical Engineering/Electrical Engineering (Required)
- 18th Edition with valid IEE regulations (Desirable)
- Welding/Fabricating experience (Desirable)
- Understanding of PLC systems (Desirable)
- An ability to work well under pressure
- Excellent technical skills and knowledge
- Problem solving and team working skills
- Ability to think on your own initiative
