EFAB Resourcing is seeking an experienced and proactive Senior Recruiter specialising in Engineering and Industrial sectors. The post holder will manage the end to end recruitment lifecycle for both Blue Collar and White Collar roles, supporting a diverse portfolio of clients and projects. The role demands excellent stakeholder management, strong sector knowledge, and the ability to deliver high-quality recruitment solutions within a fast-paced environment.
The Recruiter ideally will have experience across the Engineering & Industrial sectors and will take ownership of a varied portfolio of requisitions, delivering both volume Blue Collar hiring and specialist White Collar recruitment. Working closely with hiring managers and project teams, the role will ensure EFAB Resourcing attracts, selects and secures the best available talent in line with business needs and our external recruitment partners.
- Balance high volume operational hiring with niche technical and professional appointments.
- Act as a trusted recruitment partner to internal stakeholders and external clients.
- Continuously improve sourcing strategies, recruitment processes and candidate experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the full recruitment lifecycle for Engineering and Industrial roles, including permanent, temporary and contract appointments.
- Source, screen and assess candidates across a range of Blue Collar disciplines, and White Collar workers.
- Coordinate and conduct interviews, assessments and selection activities, ensuring a consistent and fair process.
- Support offer negotiation, offer preparation and pre-employment checks through to onboarding.
- Act as a trusted advisor, providing market insights, talent availability updates and strategic recruitment support.
- Attend client meetings and site visits, as required, to gain a full understanding of role requirements and working environments.
- Collaborate with operational and project leadership to forecast demand and plan recruitment activity proactively.
- Develop innovative sourcing strategies using job boards, social media, networking, referrals and industry specific platforms.
- Build and maintain talent pools and pipelines for high demand skill areas, ensuring rapid response to hiring needs.
- Deliver a positive and professional candidate experience from first contact through to onboarding.
- Ensure all placements comply with UK employment legislation, right-to-work checks and internal compliance procedures.
- Maintain accurate and up to date records using the company’s Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and associated recruitment tools.
- Prepare and quality check job adverts, interview notes, candidate profiles and offer documentation as required.
- Adhere to data protection and confidentiality requirements in line with company policy and UK legislation.
- Keep up to date with developments in the Engineering, Manufacturing, Industrial and Construction labour markets.
- Provide feedback and recommendations to refine recruitment processes, systems and ways of working.
- Support employer branding and talent attraction initiatives in line with EFAB Resourcing’s strategy.
- Share best practice, market intelligence and sourcing insights with colleagues to support continuous improvement.

- Essential
- Proven experience recruiting within the Engineering, Industrial, Civil or Manufacturing sectors.
- Demonstrated ability to manage high volume Blue Collar recruitment alongside niche White Collar technical roles.
- Strong stakeholder management skills, with confidence in influencing and advising hiring managers and senior stakeholders.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Strong communication, negotiation and relationship building abilities, both written and verbal.
- Desirable
- Experience working in an in-house recruitment function or Recruitment Process Outsourcing (RPO) environment.
- Familiarity with ATS systems and digital recruitment tools, including reporting and analytics features.
- Understanding of project-based recruitment for large engineering or construction sites.
- Experience contributing to employer branding, recruitment marketing or talent attraction campaigns.
