EFAB Resourcing are seeking an experienced Automation Engineer to support the design, development, and delivery of automated manufacturing solutions across our production sites.This is an exciting opportunity to work on capital projects, robotics, cobots, new production lines, factory expansions, and automation improvements within a fast-paced manufacturing environment at Wren Kitchens.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and support automation and electrical control systemsProgram and optimise PLCs, HMIs, drives, and industrial networksSupport the integration of robots and cobotsAssist with project delivery from concept through to commissioningProduce and review electrical drawings and technical documentsTroubleshoot automation and electrical issuesEnsure systems meet machinery safety and electrical standardsSupport continuous improvement across manufacturingSkills & Experience RequiredHNC/HND or Degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation, Mechatronics, or similarExperience with PLC programming, such as Siemens, Schneider, or Allen-BradleyGood understanding of automation systems and control architectureAbility to read and produce electrical drawingsExperience supporting automation or engineering projectsKnowledge of machinery safety standards and safety systemsPractical, hands-on approach with strong fault-finding skillsDesirableExperience with robots or cobotsExperience in high-volume manufacturingKnowledge of vision systems, SCADA, or MESProject engineering experienceTPBN1_UKTJ
