A leading Mechanical Engineering company operating across multiple sites in the UK is looking to add an entry level Health & Safety Officer to their growing team. Key Responsibilities
- Support the implementation and maintenance of Health & Safety policies and procedures
- Assist with risk assessments, method statements, and safe systems of work
- Conduct site inspections and audits across various UK locations
- Help investigate incidents and near misses, ensuring lessons learned are captured
- Promote a strong Health & Safety culture across the business
- Maintain accurate H&S documentation and records
- Provide administrative support to the wider H&S team
About You
- Holds a NEBOSH Certificate OR currently working towards NEBOSH qualification
- Strong interest and passion for Health & Safety
- Willingness to learn and develop within a fast-paced engineering environment
- Good attention to detail and organisational skills
- Confident communicator with the ability to engage with site teams
- Full UK driving licence (desirable due to travel requirements)
