EFAB Resourcing are recruiting for a Buyer to complement our existing team. The Buyer is responsible for conducting the procurement process for multiple contracts. You will be responsible for managing supplier relationships, involvement in negotiating contracts, and coordinating with internal stakeholders to meet project requirements. Additionally, you will have responsibilities related to vendor list preparation, pre-qualification, selection, and agreement, as well as involvement in estimating, tenders, bids, and proposals. Moreover, you will ensure that internal clients follow correct procurement procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers based on quality, cost, delivery, and other performance criteria.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, managing contracts, negotiations, and supplier performance.
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive vendor list based on project requirements, capabilities, and pre-qualification criteria. Regularly review and update the vendor list to ensure alignment with project needs.
- Conduct pre-qualification assessments to evaluate supplier capabilities, financial stability, safety records, and compliance with relevant regulations. Collaborate with stakeholders to define selection criteria and ensure transparent and fair supplier selection processes.
- Take part in negotiations for framework agreements and contracts with selected suppliers.
