EF International Language Campus Oxford is looking for part-time teachers for the University Preparation (UP) Programme, teaching Maths at AS/A-Level (KS3/KS4).
Position Details
- Start: 24/11/25
- Part-time role: 46 hours per fortnight (6 h 40 min up to 20h of class time per week, depending on terms)
Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging Maths classes to UP students
- If qualifications/previous experience allow, teach other specialist modules (Physics and/or Accounting)
- Plan and prepare lessons using EF’s curriculum and blended learning approach
- Track student attendance, assess progress, and provide regular feedback
- Facilitate testing and maintain academic records
- Participate in teacher briefings, staff meetings, and professional development sessions
- Contribute to a positive and collaborative academic team environment
- Support students in achieving their learning goals through tutorials and guidance
The ideal teacher
- Hold a BA in the relevant subject to teach Maths
- Teach Physics/Accounting where appropriate
- Teaching or tutoring experience in any setting
- TEFL/CELTA qualification (desirable but not essential)
- Passionate, professional, dynamic, enthusiastic and flexible
- Highly motivated, proactive, and positive, with a keen sense of initiative
- Keen interest in up-to-date teaching methodology and developments
- Able to encourage a positive and sharing attitude to classroom and professional issues
- Sensitive to students’ academic and welfare needs
- Right to work in the UK at commencement of employment
- Clean background check and two references
