EF International Language Campus Oxford is looking for part-time teachers for the University Preparation (UP) Programme, teaching Maths at AS/A-Level (KS3/KS4).

Position Details

  • Start: 24/11/25
  • Part-time role: 46 hours per fortnight (6 h 40 min up to 20h of class time per week, depending on terms)

Responsibilities

  • Deliver engaging Maths classes to UP students
  • If qualifications/previous experience allow, teach other specialist modules (Physics and/or Accounting)
  • Plan and prepare lessons using EF’s curriculum and blended learning approach
  • Track student attendance, assess progress, and provide regular feedback
  • Facilitate testing and maintain academic records
  • Participate in teacher briefings, staff meetings, and professional development sessions
  • Contribute to a positive and collaborative academic team environment
  • Support students in achieving their learning goals through tutorials and guidance

The ideal teacher

  • Hold a BA in the relevant subject to teach Maths
  • Teach Physics/Accounting where appropriate
  • Teaching or tutoring experience in any setting
  • TEFL/CELTA qualification (desirable but not essential)
  • Passionate, professional, dynamic, enthusiastic and flexible
  • Highly motivated, proactive, and positive, with a keen sense of initiative
  • Keen interest in up-to-date teaching methodology and developments
  • Able to encourage a positive and sharing attitude to classroom and professional issues
  • Sensitive to students’ academic and welfare needs
  • Right to work in the UK at commencement of employment
  • Clean background check and two references
